What can counseling do for me?

Fill out the New Client Form online, enter your information, and submit!  If you have not heard from us within 48 business hours then please give us a call!  We are excited to work with you.

How do I know which therapist is right for me?

When it is time to schedule, we will be sure to match you with a therapist that is experienced with the concern you list in your intake form AND that has availability at the time you need.

What does your agency NOT do?

  • ABA Therapy - this is very specialized and should be provided by an ABA Center

  • EAP Plans - while we might be listed, we do not accept this form of coverage

  • Medications - we recommend calling your insurance for a psychiatry referral

  • Psychological Evaluations - we recommend calling your insurance for a psychology referral

  • Miracles - therapy is an active process between the Therapist and Client.  While we can help you feel better, it takes time, patience, and open communication with one another to succeed.

Don't see your insurance listed above?

Our New Client Forms give you all of the tools to verify your own insurance.  We encourage you to call your insurance plan directly and ask about Alliance Child & Family Solutions or "ACFS Texas" which is sometimes listed directly under our Executive Director, Anastasia Taylor, LCSW-S.

Financial Assistance Plan

For clients who are experiencing a financial hardship who would like to apply for a reduction in the fees owed, please complete the following plan.  The Financial Assistance Plan can be applied to cash pay clients or clients with high deductibles and/or co-pays.  All discounts will be based on percentage of the Federal Poverty Limits.  Proof of income will have to be provided in addition to the form above before any adjustment in fees can be approved.

  • Eligibility for discounts is based on income and family size and no other factors (e.g., assets, insurance status, participation in the Health Insurance Marketplace, citizenship, population type).

  • Reduction in fees are from our cash pay rates is from our Cash Pay Rates of $150/Initial Assessment and $125/Follow Up Sessions and is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

  • We are able to offer these discounts through an increased network of in-house providers, including Masters-Level Practicum Students; mid-level providers of LMFT-Associates, LMSWs in Clinical Supervision, LPC-Interns; and our Fully Licensed LCSW, LMFT, and LPC Therapists.

  • Any reduction in fees would mean that we could NOT utilize your insurance as it would be on a cash-pay basis only.  When utilizing health insurance for your services, we are obligated to charge the full amount of your copay or deductible per our contract with your insurance company.

To take advantage of this opportunity of reduced fees, you will need to complete the Financial Assistance Plan below and submit to billing@acfstexas.com .

Release of Information

We encourage collaboration between our agency / therapists and other professionals involved in your care.  Please complete the following Release of Information to disclose information between our agency and another provider.  You can complete BOTH forms if you wish for information to be sent both FROM and TO our agency and the other provider.
