Dear All,

‚Äč

We want to keep you all informed of our efforts to combat the Novel Coronavirus (Covid19) and how this may change our regular operations.

SCHOOL NOTES FOR TELEHEALTH DURING ONLINE SCHOOL HOURS

We understand that many schools will be returning to online schooling next week.  Starting next week, we CAN provide electronic school notes regarding your telehealth visits so please remember that this will be treated the same way as during the school year.

ACFS OFFICE CLOSURES / COVID19 UPDATES

Because of the increasing number of Covid19 cases in Tarrant County and our commitment to the physical and mental health of all, we are planning on our physical office locations being closed at least until June 1st.  If you were waiting til business returned as usual to schedule an appointment, we would highly recommend scheduling now (link below).

The rationale behind this timeline is due to the increasingly strict measures being employed in Texas to "flatten the curve" and how cases of Covid19 in Tarrant County continue to rise, nearly doubling overnight:

TO SCHEDULE..... NEW / RETURNING CLIENTS:

Please visit the following link to schedule your appointment, we have added LOTS of Telehealth openings for this coming week so please take a chance to review and select a provider / opening that best meets your needs: https://intakeq.com/booking/eps4cs

  • Openings only show under each provider's name rather than the schedule as a whole.  You can select a provider to see their openings and whether the time will work with your schedule.

  • Click on "BOOK NOW" next to a Provider's Name to see what Openings they have available.   Once you have selected a time, enter the Client's Name and Your Email to confirm.

After you request an appointment, you receive a confirmation of that request to your email.  However, this is NOT a confirmation of the appointment.

  • The actual appointment confirmation will be in an additional email and will include a Credit Card Authorization form for those using CHIP, Commercial Insurance, or Cash Pay.

  • Please note that we do NOT accept EAP plans of any type.

Should you have any questions, you can reach our dedicated ACFS Referrals Coordinators by phone during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm by calling 817-851-2042 ext 0.

March 12, 2020 - Updates RE Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Dear Clients & Community Members ~

We understand the growing concern surrounding Coronavirus (Covid-19) across our communities, and our hearts go out to all those who've been impacted. We understand you may have specific questions about how to keep yourself and/or loved ones safe, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

HOW CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) AFFECTS MENTAL HEALTH:

OUR PROTECTIVE MEASURES FOR YOUR PHYSICAL HEALTH:

  • Our existing cleaning procedures were put in place to help prevent against the spread of cold, flu and other illnesses. We are confident that these processes, along with basic health and sanitation processes for our team members and guests, should discourage the spread of these viruses.

  • We have also increased the frequency of cleanings.

  • As always, we provide hand sanitizer throughout all locations for Therapists and Clients.

  • You may be asked to use hand sanitizer before and after your appointment.

  • We are also working closely with our Teams to ensure that anyone who is not feeling well understands that we support them staying home.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES YOU CAN PRACTICE FOR THE HEALTH OF ALL:

As an extra precaution, the CDC also recommends several preventative actions you can take, including:

  • Avoid close contact with individuals showing signs of illness.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without first washing your hands.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Stay home if you are sick.

  • Practice proper hand hygiene and cough etiquette.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES:

  • For those with compromised immune systems or who, in general, may be nervous about entering office buildings, please note that all our Therapists have been trained in providing Telehealth.

  • We would highly encourage you speak to your Therapist about telehealth services to reduce risk of exposure through the practice of social distancing.

  • Our Telehealth Services are available for ALL Texas residents and the system can be accessed by iPhone, Android phone, tablet, computer, Chromebook, and other technological devices that support the Chrome Browser with video/audio.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), federal agencies, and other global health organizations to collect the most up-to-the-minute information to ensure the actions we're taking are comprehensive and expedient. Based on this information, we may decide to continue, pause, or suspend operations at certain offices if necessary. Everything we do is with a heartfelt commitment to improve the mental and physical health of our community. It is our honor and privilege to serve you, particularly during challenging times, and we thank you for being at the heart of what we do.
