Life-Changing Counseling Services for ALL of Texas
by ALL, we mean ALL are welcome - individuals, couples, families, siblings, children, adults, seniors, and more
We help people feel better.
Finding a local provider, taking time off work, and social distancing can make it tough to know where to go for quality mental health care.
We are here to bridge that gap with a multitude of providers, services, and languages available regardless of your location in Texas.
Some of what we accomplished in 2019:
What we have achieved as of August 1, 2020:
Struggling Financially due to COVID-19?
We understand. If you are in Texas and have been furloughed, laid off, or had reduced hours due to COVID-19, then upload documentation and receive FREE Telehealth Counseling. Complete our New Client Forms and select "COVID-19 Hardship Program" to cover your services.

Services via Telehealth
Life can be challenging at times, and we want you to know that you don’t have to face it alone. Maybe you or a loved one is struggling with sudden changes or trauma and would like to see how counseling could help. Maybe you’re in need of social services and want to learn which resources are available to you. We can help!
Our counseling is available via Telehealth using our web-based platform in order to deliver services for individuals across ALL of Texas in a convenient and accessible method. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, Cash Payments, and Financial Assistance Plans (reducing fees based on the Client's income and the Federal Poverty Limits, i.e. "sliding scale"). Telehealth counseling includes all of the same services we provide in office but now available anywhere in Texas using our secure virtual platform.
Coming Soon: the ACFS GAP Program
The ACFS GAP Program works alongside law enforcement to bridge the gap between individuals needing help and the resources that exist to serve the need. This multi-pronged approach for long-term crisis resolution will include Case Management, Teletherapy Counseling, and the support of a Community Liaison. This ground-breaking program will reform the process of crisis management, create a positive image of law enforcement, and reduce the cycle of repeated interactions between local police and community members.
In addition, the GAP Program will proactively seek to increase diversity in the mental health profession from the onset of this program. This program will spotlight the need for community members to receive crisis intervention services from professionals of similar cultural backgrounds while helping mental health professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds to be able to advance their careers and achieve clinical licensure.
WE NEED YOUR HELP - This life-changing program is tentative on receiving funding. We are actively seeking grant funding, private donations, business sponsorships, as well as city and county funds in order to launch this program.
Though our counseling services are available for all of Texas, the initial year of the GAP Program will be focused on the Tarrant County area and partnering with local law enforcement. Learn more, donate, or have your business sponsor the program at www.acfstexas.com/GAP
